Minimum Qualification
• Quality & Compliance: ISO 9001 (required), relevant product standards (e.g., IEC/EN—IEC 61439 for switchgear, EN 61537 for cable supports, etc.), CE/DoC, RoHS/REACH statements
• Manufacturing Capability: Capacity/lead times, MOQ, FAI (first article), calibration traceability (ISO 17025 if applicable)
• Traceability: Lot/serial, CoC/DoC, labelling & packaging standards
• EHS & Ethics: Occupational safety, environmental practices, anti-bribery/code of conduct
Onboarding Steps
1. RFI: Product range, certifications, references, monthly capacity and typical lead times
2. NDA & Pre-Qualification Questionnaire
3. Technical & Factory Assessment: Remote (video/docs) or on-site
4. Sample / FAI: Approved sample or pre-series production
5. Pilot PO: Validate quality and delivery performance
6. ASL Entry: Added to the Approved Supplier List with periodic performance reviews
Documentation Checklist
• Company registry/tax info, banking (IBAN/SWIFT)
• ISO 9001 (and ISO 14001/45001 if applicable)
• DoC/CoC, test reports, datasheets
• Quality manual/procedures (summary), traceability scheme
• Two references from the last 12 months (client names may be anonymized)
Commercial & Operational Basics
• Payment: TT (Net 30/60) or LC; project-based flexibility
• Delivery: EXW/FOB (Mersin preferred); packaging & labeling standards apply
• Warranty: 12–24 months by product family; manufacturer terms prevail if longer
• KPIs: OTD, NCR/PPM, CAPA closure time, communication speed
